CAPSTONE WORK 1 / TURKEY’S CENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONS
Multimedia marketing campaign
For this project, I created various vector illustrations in Adobe Fresco, to easily use and infinitely edit throughout the project without sacrificing resolution quality. In the end, I ended up with three A2 posters, two billboard advertisements, motion posters, social media posts, and a short film/TV commercial I recorded with a semi-professional camera and edited in Adobe After Effects to be in only black-and-white and blood-red. The six-professor-strong jury evaluating my work was impressed with my presentation and the coherency of my creations as a whole.
For our first capstone project, we were tasked with creating a marketing campaign dedicated to the centennial celebrations of the Turkish Republic for a company of our choosing. I picked AKBANK, as it is a deeply rooted domestic financial institution, and also for its signature blood-red and white colour palette that parallels Turkey’s national colours perfectly.
